Welcome to our year-round playground! When it comes to sports and activities, few tropical destinations can match the appeal of vacationing in Los Cabos. An ideal climate and diverse terrainin or out of the watermakes Los Cabos perfect for any family member.
For decades, legendary sportfishing was Los Cabos’ main claim to fame; now championship golf shares the spotlight, with many other exciting watersports and land activities to enjoy.
The rich Sea of Cortés, the world’s youngest and most biologically diverse sea, makes diving and snorkeling a unique experience, with excellent sites between CSL and SJD. On the East Cape, a daytrip to Cabo Pulmo’s live coral reef and pristine marine environment is a fun educational way to involve every family member. Throughout Los Cabos, you can kayak and surf year round; and almost any watersport can be had, including parasailing and water skiing, at Médano Beach in CSL. For watersports in the Tourist Corridor, visit Cabo Real.
Snorkel and sunset cruises are easily arranged, from an authentic Tall Ship to yachts and sailboats, and the largest catamaran in North America; or take a glass bottom boat ride around Land’s End. Snorkel tours to Santa María and Chileno bays are another fantastic way to combine cruising with exploring the underwater world, with a variety of vessels to choose from.
Los Cabos is the undisputed golf capital of Latin America, with seven oceanfront championship golf courses and many more on the way. Choices range from the well-maintained nine-hole course in SJD, to world-renowned courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Robert Trent Jones II, Tom Weiskopf and other golf greats.
Venture into Los Cabo’s unique outback and explore the desert and the Sierra de La Laguna range on horseback, by Jeep, by mountain bike, or on an all terrain vehicle (ATV). Hike rugged mountains, rappel the cliffs of Land’s End, take an eco-tour and hike to hidden hot and cold springs, or explore Pericue Indian sites and fossil beds. Extreme sports enthusiasts can ratch up the adrenaline with off-road racing, mountain climbing, daredevil tours, and skydiving.
In Los Cabos, it’s easy to “get natural.” Bird watch at the San José estuary, participate in a sea turtle release, or from January to March, take a gray and humpback whale watching trip.
In or out of the water, relaxed or extreme, for outdoor adventure Los Cabos has it!
